Selenocosmiinae sp. Dak Man – Dak Man Earth Tiger
Meet one of the hobby's most intriguing undescribed Asian earth tigers — Selenocosmiinae sp. Dak Man, commonly known as the Dak Man Earth Tiger. Hailing from the highland forests of Vietnam, this fossorial species embodies everything collectors love about Old World tarantulas: speed, attitude, and a striking appearance that rewards patient keepers willing to earn a glimpse.
Like other members of the Selenocosmiinae subfamily, the Dak Man Earth Tiger is a confirmed fossorial species that will excavate deep burrows and spend the majority of its time hidden — making every surface sighting a genuine event. Adults display rich earthy tones with subtle iridescence on the carapace and a dense covering of urticating-free setae typical of Old World species.
